Re: 2010 Scholarship
Applications
The Canyon County Farm Bureau announces several
opportunities for scholarships for high school seniors or college
students. These opportunities include.
- Canyon County Farm Bureau Scholarships – There
is one $1,500 scholarship and one $500 scholarship (sponsored by the
Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee) available for a student
enrolling or enrolled in an Agricultural or related field of study,
and one $750 scholarship which could be based upon financial need. The finalists will be referred on to the Idaho Farm Bureau
Scholarship program, in which there are a total of eight $750
scholarships available.
- Canyon Agricultural Foundation for Education
Scholarships – The Foundation has funds for one $1,000 scholarship
and one $1,000 per year/four-year commitment to the student as long
as they remain enrolled in college in an Agricultural field of study
and maintain a 2.5 GPA.
CAFE Scholarship Form (PDF)
These scholarships are available to all students
(both high school and college) who are planning to attend an institution
of higher education in the 2010-2011 school year.
Priority will be given to students enrolling in an agricultural field of
study and students who have not received one of these scholarships in
the past. Eligibility requirements are delineated in
each application.
DEADLINE for Canyon County Farm Bureau
Scholarship and the Canyon Agricultural Foundation for Education
Scholarships is March 15, 2010. Incomplete or
late applications will not be considered.
